LOTUS TOURS has been running trips to exotic and unusual destinations since 1982 with our inaugural trip to Nepal followed soon after by a motorcycle tour through Thailand. We are very focused on providing extraordinary travel adventure combining the following key elements to guarantee a successful motorcycle tour:
1. Travel to and through the most scenic countryside and villages in the world.
2. Staying in elegant and unusual hotels from palaces, vintage fortresses and renovated monasteries.
3. Unusual places to spend the night from sleeping bags on the beaches of Peru surrounded by a herd of Sea Lions, tented Colonial Hotel in Samode, India, thatched bungalows along the south Vietnamese coast or a minority long house of the Humong Tribe in the Highlands of Vietnam on the Ho Chi Mihn Trail.
4. Part of the adventure is enjoying the regional and local cuisine of the many countries and unique destinations that we visit.
5. Emersion in regional culture as we ride through small villages where we are fascinated by how people live and work in their everyday environment far away from telephones, televisions and newspapers.
6. One of the most rewarding aspects of our tours is the emmersion in the national history to see, feel and understand the past of these countries which include the 800 year old Anazizi Indians of Colorado and New Mexico.
